THE RIGHT HELP FOR YOUR MOVE
Storage offers for your move
Use this retained storage-offer page to ask about current eligibility, provider space and conditions for your move. Confirm the actual arrangement before relying on an advertised storage period, and keep moving labor, storage rental and later delivery clear.
Make the work order clear
Eligibility
Ask which move, customer and provider conditions apply. Request confirmation for the actual dates rather than assuming a historical offer is universal.
Provider and space
Identify who supplies the storage, where it is located and whether appropriate space is available for your inventory.
The end of storage
Discuss retrieval, additional rental and the separate appointment needed to deliver the items when the next property is ready.

Prepare for your estimate
- Ask whether the offer is currently available.
- Confirm provider and eligibility.
- Read the start/end and extension terms.
- List handling and redelivery separately.
- Keep the written offer confirmation.
Check the offer against your actual dates
An offer is useful only when its provider, available space, eligible move and terms match your situation. Ask what documentation or booking conditions apply, when a storage period starts and what happens if your belongings need to remain longer than expected.
Identify charges outside an offer
Ask about handling, transport into storage, retrieval, access and later delivery. Confirm any provider agreement and payments directly. A promotional headline should not be interpreted as covering every service associated with moving goods into and out of storage.
From the first conversation to placement
Describe the move and storage period
Provide the inventory and property dates to start the eligibility conversation.
Verify the actual offer
Confirm provider availability, conditions and charges in writing.
Plan the next appointment
Arrange retrieval or delivery before assuming the storage period has solved the move-in gap.
Details that shape your estimate
- Eligible move details
- Inventory and space
- Storage dates and extensions
- Provider terms
- Handling and redelivery
Ask about current storage offers
The Move Place can introduce customers to local storage partners when move-out and move-in dates do not line up. Ask whether a current partner offer is available for your dates, location and unit size. A reference to free storage does not itself reserve a unit or confirm eligibility.
Storage is provided under the facility’s agreement. Before relying on an offer, ask the provider to put the promotional period, qualifying unit, required fees, deposits and later rent in writing. Confirm the booking directly with the facility.
Check what the offer actually covers
- Which units and move-in dates qualify, and whether a minimum rental term applies.
- Any administration fees, insurance requirements, deposits or access charges.
- The rent after the promotional period and the cancellation or notice rules.
- Whether climate control, drive-up access or extended hours are available for the actual unit.
Features vary between facilities and units. Do not assume that a partner referral includes climate control, around-the-clock access or a specific level of insurance.
Arrange the moving side separately
Share the chosen facility, inventory, access hours and moving date with The Move Place. Discuss loading, transport, unloading and any later delivery to your new home in the written moving estimate. A storage promotion does not automatically include moving labor, packing or a second delivery.

Questions about this service
Is a storage offer automatically included in my move?
No. Ask for current eligibility, provider availability and the applicable written conditions for your move. A retained offer page is not proof of a reserved unit or approved promotion.
Who provides the storage?
Ask The Move Place to identify the actual provider and agreement. Do not infer facility ownership, a specific location or guaranteed space from a promotional page.
Are loading and later delivery covered by the offer?
Ask for each moving task and provider charge to be listed. A storage promotion may have a different scope from packing, transport, retrieval or a later delivery appointment.
What if I need to store items longer?
Check extension options and charges with the actual provider before the period ends. Tell the moving team when you expect to need retrieval or delivery so another appointment can be discussed.
Can I access the belongings during the offer period?
Confirm access rules, appointments, hours and charges with the provider. Keep important documents, medication and immediate essentials outside the stored shipment.
